As the official owners club for Tesla in the UK, our website is visted by a large proportion of UK owners. We have around ~40% of all UK owners within our membership.
Each year we run many events, everything from 15 cars in a car park to full blown 200+ car events.
Instead of your team having to actively promote your business our team actively push owners to our directory via email / social / website / discussion groups
We often rank 2nd-4th on Google when a supplier name is searched alongside the ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ reviews of your products/services.
It will be used to grow Tesla Owners UK so we can continue to offer our members additional benefits and provide funds for social events as per our primary goals, nobody is profiting from the supporters and we’re all volunteers running this.
In short, it’s not something they’re willing to offer and I’m not sure we would accept it even if they did offer, by being self-funding it ensures that we continue to be independent which I believe is vital.
No debit/credit card information is ever stored on our servers. We use Stripe.com, one of the most secure and reputable payment processors available. All card numbers are encrypted on disk with AES-256 and decryption keys are stored on separate machines. None of Stripe’s internal servers and daemons are able to obtain plaintext card numbers; instead, they can just request that cards be sent to a service provider on a static whitelist.
Stripe’s infrastructure for storing, decrypting, and transmitting card numbers runs in separate hosting infrastructure and doesn’t share any credentials with Stripe’s primary services (API, website, etc.) For more information, you can visit Stripe’s security policy right here!
In other words, your debit/credit card details are safe!
